Cross-promotional opportunities with movie studios provide a vehicle to creatively interact with consumers and create an emotional connection with the target. Leveraging the popularity of relevant and trusted third party assets with a time sensitive promotion drives incremental category sales.
The Solution
Lundmark Advertising + Design has coordinated the implementation and production of licensor packaging for projects with DreamWorks, Universal Studios, Paramount Pictures, Warner Brothers Entertainment, Hasbro and Marvel. Each project is unique, but typically involves implementing assets across multiple SKUs and packaging formats, product photography & retouching, color mockups submitted to the licensor for approval, press checks and final production coordination. To activate the program in the field we produce sales collateral directing the filed to a custom Web site where they are able to place orders for in-store promotional support including custom designed POP displays – all of which are delivered directly to field associates who execute the program.
The Result
Saving time and money. By managing and executing every step in the project from the concept phase to product photography, licensor approval to production, we are able to reduce the overall production schedule saving valuable time and considerable cost.
